The Role
Perform data mining including predictive analytics and trends analysis Design, develop, and visualize reports and online dashboards Assist on creating a database that will store relevant data and/or a standalone data source Work directly with stakeholders and business analyst to understand and document requirements Create DAX scripts that will be used to calculate required metrics presented in dashboards Work closely with the database administrator, quality analyst, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of development work Support data collection, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of issues uncovered Create required project documentation and ensure that it is clear, concise, and accurate Participate in the development of a project roadmap and provide work estimate Comply with standards, best practices, and policies defined for the teamThe Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related business intelligence and reports development experienceBeginner to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Power BI2+ years direct work experience with any of the BI tools: Tableau, Spotfire, PowerPivot or Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Visual StudioDemonstrated proficiency with SQL and ability to develop queriesExperience in data analysis, data modelling, and visualizationExperience with production support and troubleshooting common report / data process issuesExperience developing reports, business requirement documentation, process flow diagrams, use cases and testing plansAbility to create presentation-ready visuals, mock-ups, charts, graphs and summary reports in tight timeframes and demonstrate effective presentation skillKnowledge of Microsoft productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power Apps, as well as willingness to learn approved third-party solutionsAdapt to shifting priorities, multiple competing demands, ambiguity, and frequent changeDisplay a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new business requirementsAbility to learn and apply new information, skills, and processes quickly and build upon existing knowledge and skillsExperience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential, as well as having strong interpersonal skillsGood communication skills and ability to collaborate with a global teamCreative and critical thinking, having strong attention to detailAbility to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCommitment to quality and continuous improvementWTW is an Equal Opportunity Employer
