The Role

Analyze and translate data into relevant business, actionable insights Perform data mining including predictive analytics and trends analysis Design and visualize new reports and online dashboards Work directly with stakeholders to understand and document requirements Communicate findings and collaborate with stakeholders Create DAX scripts that will be used to calculate required metrics presented in dashboards Support data collection, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of bugs Create required documentation and ensure that it is clear, concise, and accurate Participate in the development of the project roadmap Work closely with the database architect, business analyst, and users to ensure timely and accurate delivery of development work

The Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience At least 5 years of experience in software development and support Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and ability to develop queries Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Power BI  Experience in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio Strong communication skills Experience in handling multiple projects and initiatives, producing quality deliverables on time Experience developing reports, business requirement documentation, process flow diagrams, use cases and testing plans Strong knowledge of web technology products and delivery methodologies Familiarity with financial concepts and processes would be beneficial Adapt to shifting priorities, multiple competing demands, ambiguity, and frequent change Display a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new business requirements Ability to learn and apply new information, skills, and processes quickly and build upon existing knowledge and skills Must be able to function autonomously and as part of a virtual team Must be willing to work extended hours from time to time
