Business Intelligence Intern

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm 

 

Internship program dates: Monday, June 6 – Friday, August 15 

 

We’re seeking a bright, highly motivated student to join CSC as a Business Intelligence Intern in our Wilmington, DE office. This program gives current college students the opportunity to grow their technical skills and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment. 

 

Our Business Intelligence Intern will develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and data analytics for a growing enterprise. You will have the opportunity to learn and work with SAP Business Objects, is a suite of front-end applications that allow business users to build, view and analyze business intelligence data and also MS Power BI, is a visualization & dashboarding tool. 

 

 

Some of the things you’ll learn from us:  

Understand CSC Line of business and opportunity to know more about CSC culture.  Understand the landscape and architecture of CSC Business Intelligence and analytical platform.  High level overview of CSC enterprise data warehouse (EDW) landscape and ETL stack.  Gain experience in building reports, dashboards and analytical workflows.  Understand the pillars of customer service and be introduced to CSC’s Customer Promise. – Is this covered during onboarding sessions? If not, it can be removed.   

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? 

Currently attending college, university, or a similar training program  Graduating or ready for full-time employment within 12 months of August 2024  Management information systems, computer science, or similar coursework  Course work and/or experience in database systems, SQL, etc.   Course work and/or experience in data analytics  Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including charts and pivot tables  Excellent communication skills  Strong technical aptitude and desire to learn  Ability to learn in a fast paced, agile environment
