Responsibilities:
Manage all facets of data reporting, analysis, management and any other related technologies including process mapping, application development, technical installation, and training tasks. Lead BI development efforts including solution rollout, planning and governance. Recommendation of BI technology platforms and solutions where necessary. Development, mentoring and management of the BI staff. Ensure BI solutions deliver clear and reliable performance metrics, to derive actionable insight from complex business data, with the goal of leveraging data to understand and improve business processes. Manage relationships with key technology vendors. Ensure that the team understands all of the integrated pieces of the project and that the interdependencies are highlighted. Establish quality and performance targets for key projects (including measuring value propositions before and after implementations). Ensure that the "non system" components of the plan are in place and prioritized appropriately. This includes process design and testing that incorporates the clinical and businesses processes. Works with individual project team members on their milestones and tasks, ensuring that all issues are brought up and addressed. Hold regular project team meetings in which milestone progress, interdependencies, and issues are discussed and appropriate action items are developed. Serve as lead synthesizer and analyst for understanding and defining strategic and tactical business requirements for BI. Ensures that all team members are utilizing the issues reporting/management processes. Review issues on a regular basis to ensure that issues are handled and escalated appropriately so that the project milestones will be met. Ensures team members are utilizing the central knowledge repository for project documentation, including work plans, issue lists, status reports, deliverables, etc. Understand and communicate if/how sub-projects or dependent projects impact planned projects (“Program” view of MSMC’s portfolio of projects). Effectively communicates the clinical project or program status to leadership, senior management, project team, vendors, and related support areas (e.g. Plant Facilities) Maintain positive working relationships with departmental areas outside of IT. Maintain positive working relationships with the EHR team members and ensure that effective communication is occurring amongst all of the team members and other project leads. Maintains awareness of the budget and pro-actively identifies any budget issues. Act as an expert technical resource to staff on project planning and project management methodologies.Minimum Requirements:
Extensive experience is needed in Epic Analytics Reporting Tools 4+ years experience with business analysis / business intelligence applications Epic certification desired. BS in Computer Science, MIS or related field.Benefits:
