Area:
HR Services (HRS) is responsible for the experience of over 20,000 employees across BASF's operations in the Americas throughout their journey within the company, from onboarding to offboarding. The services provided by HRS have a significant impact on the entire value chain, offering support for all aspects of human resources functions. Among its responsibilities, HRS handles talent attraction and acquisition, facilitates employee development initiatives, designs comprehensive compensation and benefits packages, and manages the administrative processes related to human resources. This ensures that employees have a positive experience at every stage of their employment, which in turn contributes to the overall success and efficiency of the organization. By focusing on these critical areas, HRS plays a vital role in fostering a productive and engaged workforce.
Main Objective:
Responsible for designing and implementing BI solutions that enhance decision-making and business performance. Will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to identify data needs, develop reporting solutions, and provide insights that drive strategic initiatives.
Main Tasks:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives and strategies.Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting.Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and data interpretation.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BI solutions, making recommendations for improvements as needed.Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BI and data analytics.Mentor junior BI analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics, analytics, statistics (preferred). MBA valuable. Working Experience: 3+ years of experience in service delivery teams, with proven track record of steering continuous improvement initiatives within the team, preferably related to managing knowledge within the team.Language skills: Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is valued.Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills in reporting & dashboard creation as well as backend automation. Proven track record of translating metrics and data to stakeholders in an easy understood manner. Front end tools advanced developer, Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems, SQL developer. Azure and data bricks knowledge (valued).Soft Skills: Action Oriented and demonstrated accountability for results. Direct communication & guidance as well as motivation & development of the team members. Partner management & customer focus: focusing on HR services priorities & service delivery.What we offer:
