We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Title: Data Engineer Lead
Experience Level:
8+ years of experience of which 5+ years in Databricks on Azure platforms. Experience in development and migration project types, in the role of Data Engineer and/or Architect.
Mandatory skills:
Detailed working knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing/business intelligence methodologies and best practice including dealing with big data, dealing with real-time data solutions, cloud technology and unstructured data and the relative required approaches. Knowledge of star schema structure & design, detailed understanding of Kimball & Inmon and hybrid data warehouse design. Detailed knowledge in developing in Databricks and experience in coding with PySpark. Spark SQL Delivery experience with Delta Live Tables and Auto Loader Detailed knowledge using cloud data products like Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure SQL server. ETL coding standards: Ensuring that code is standardised, self-documenting and can be reliably tested Understanding and experience of tooling and technology that support all aspects of the Data and Analytics development lifecycle in an agile scrum environment Experience in design and development of complex data and analytics solutions in an iterative manner for large enterprise business /data warehouse implementations Experience in delivery of data and analytics solutions/applications to automate business processes and to meet user function and quality characteristics, including but not limited to - performance, availability, scalability, security, and integrity Experience in implementing CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps (preferably) or other tools, and use of ARM/BICEP templates
