**Job Description:**
TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. **As a Business Management Analyst** , you play a vital role of translator and facilitator between NEW Journey Pod, Business, Technology and Quality Assurance
**Accountabilities:**
+ Provide deep technical subject matter expertise/analysis or operational process support as a key resource/representative for the function
+ Identify, document, and investigate processes/exceptions arising from transactions/processes beyond first level operations service delivery
+ Lead work streams by acting as a project lead / subject matter expert for small-scale projects/initiatives in accordance with project management methodologies
+ Act as conduit/coordinator/facilitator bringing in appropriate partners/expertise on key initiatives
+ Contribute to the identification, development and implementation of new products, operating workflow, additional services/products/applications and/or operational efficiencies
+ Provide accurate and thorough analysis of key process drivers, root, or systemic causes of cross functional operational issues, interpret findings, and make recommendations
+ Accountable for cross-functional/ interdepartmental initiatives to deliver value internally or to partner/customer groups
+ Provide upward feedback and analysis, developing and executing on reporting functions and/or producing consolidated or aggregated reporting as appropriate
+ Maintain and develop working relationships with customers, partners, and vendors by representing the broader Operations function, addressing complex customer issues within the context of the full end-to-end process
+ Provide training to others on best practices, processes, etc. as well as guide junior staff for the completion of business-as-usual functions
+ Work closely with other internal bank partners to ensure all clients' needs are met
+ Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge by actively building operations knowledge, think critically about processes and opportunities for improvement, share ideas and transfer knowledge within the team and across the function
+ Act as a brand ambassador for the function and the bank, both internally and/or externally
**Specific Educational Requirements / Accreditations**
+ Hold a post-secondary degree/diploma or Technical Certificate. (Business/Technology preferred)
+ Salesforce experience is required (Salesforce Associate Certified and working toward Salesforce Admin Certification would be a strong asset)
+ Business Analyst experience or related experience/certifications are an asset
+ Microsoft Office knowledge and capability
+ Ability to problem solve and work independently
+ Knowledge of TDAM Retail Distribution Business is preferred
+ Ability to deliver on multiple initiatives simultaneously
+ Strong Communication Skills Written and Verbal
+ Positive outlook with eagerness to learn
**Other Qualifications / Skills / Experience**
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following qualifications:
+ An understanding of the Salesforce platform, best practices, and business analytics tools.
+ Proficiency in Jira is an asset
+ Collaboration is key on this team. Candidate must be able to contribute creative ideas and possess flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the team.
+ Strong leadership, change management and consensus building skills with the ability to understand impacts and interactions of end-to-end business processes
+ Strong facilitation skills and comfort asking effective questions to elicit stakeholder needs and/or concerns to define requirements and business processes.
+ Must demonstrate strong, dynamic written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders at all levels of seniority
+ Must be results-oriented and dedicated to high standards with a commitment to providing an exceptional level of service to internal stakeholders.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across teams
+ Strong presentation skills and comfortable in an interactive group setting
+ Exceptional time management and organizational skills are required to balance competing deliverables and projects in a fast-paced environment
+ Extremely strong attention to detail is critical in this role
+ Ability to take initiative and ownership of issues
+ Employ critical thinking and ability to make logic-based decisions
+ Able to adapt quickly to change and comfortable working with ambiguity
+ Demonstrate competency when working independently on multiple tasks
+ Release management experience would be an asset
+ Experience with complex reporting and data management would be a strong asset
+ Preference for more advanced users in MS Office Suite, particularly with manipulating data in Excel (VBA, pivot tables, formulas, etc.). Ability to build macros is an asset
+ A desire to continuously learn and improve, particularly related to technical skills and Salesforce knowledge.
