Northrop Grumman is seeking a budget analyst to join our team.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Compiles and reviews budgets for organizational units using proposal forecasts, actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administrationPrepares financial plans, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, establishes cost rates and material forecasts, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budgetMonitor compliance of financial policies, interpret policies for non-routine activitiesSet up of IWOs and networks for projects as neededSubmit correction entries to Accounting as neededOther duties and special projects as assignedInteracting with personnel and management at all levelsFrequent interaction with various functions and multiple layers of the organization

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in business management, accounting, finance, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience or a Master’s Degree in business management, accounting finance or related field with 1 year of relevant experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar systemsExperience working in team settings with successful results

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsCOGNOS system experience

Salary Range: $61,000.00 - $91,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
