About the Opportunity
WeWork is seeking a Business Management Coordinator based in our New York HQ who will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support for the Product, Technology and Operations team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with strong logical, mathematical and analytical skills as well as great communication, who can adapt quickly to changing business needs and has the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Manage internal requests for purchase orders and ensure POs are shared with vendors.
Process incoming vendor invoices, including matching them with POs, confirming all required backup documentation is received and submitting to AP to payment.
Submit necessary help desk tickets, track to completion and verify changes requested are correct.
Track PO and invoice data in Coda databases and financial tracking spreadsheets.
Work closely with the Accounts Payable and Shared Services teams to address/resolve any issues with POs or Invoices.
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve issues professionally.
Reconcile vendor statements and investigate/resolve any discrepancies.
Create and submit the monthly department Purchasing Card expense report.
Assist with month-end/year-end close activities.
Reports to the Business Management Analyst.
About YouWe’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
Excellent spreadsheet skills (preferably with Google Sheets).
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Great communication skills.
Experience with Workday Financials preferred.
Understanding of basic accounting principles preferred.
Base Pay: $64,350 - $75,000
*The base pay and variable incentive pay above is for New York based hires only. If hired in a location other than New York, base pay may vary.
Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including: 20 days of PTO, 13 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time per full calendar year; 16 weeks paid parental leave; competitive healthcare benefits; 401k plan; and life and AD&D insurance.
