We are looking for you to join our team as a Business Management Manager 1 based out of Rolling Meadows, IL.  This position may be staffed as a hybrid role from the Rolling Meadows, IL area. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The Business Management Manager 1 will support the Navigation, Targeting & Survivability (NTS) Electronic Warfare and Targeting Business Unit.  This Business Unit consists of a diverse set of DoD, commercial, and other customer contracts, with all contract types.  The Business Unit also includes international business.

Business Management Manager 1 roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Lead a team of Program Control Analysts, Contract Administrators, and Schedulers in executing a broad scope of business management activities to support program execution and complianceLead the EAC process to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisionsManage the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cashCoordinate with multiple points of contact to gather, consolidate, and analyze financial dataAnalyze balance sheet activity and resolve unbilled balancesSupport proposal activities including negotiations and business case developmentCollaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program ManagementDevelop and train a direct staff of Program Control Analysts

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 6 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting or program control/Earned Value - OR - a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience as described.Will consider 10 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.Experience with DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FARPrior experience with program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan developmentPrior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or managementAbility to travel domestically 10% of the timeUS Citizenship is requiredThe ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related disciplineMBA or CPA certificationPrevious experience managing/supervising program, project, or personnel. This may be a lead position on a teamEarned Value Management experienceIntermediate, to advanced-level of understanding of the following systems or software is beneficial: COBRA (or similar project management software), wInsight, SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), Microsoft Excel, and COGNOSWorking knowledge of Government financial CDRL’sCurrent, active DoD Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $99,800.00 - $149,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
