We are looking for you to join our team as a Business Management Manager 1 based out of Linthicum, MD. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Business Management Manager 1 will support the Airborne Multifunction Solutions (AMS) Division programs in the Restricted BWI Operating Unit. The Business Manager will partner with the program managers and PCAs across various programs to manage all financials to achieve the organization’s financial and strategic objectives and will report to the OU Business Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Successful execution of program financial performance, including tracking and management of customer funds, cost performance, and cash managementEstimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and reviewSupport of pricing and proposal activitiesManagement and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff. This includes the support of training of PCAsPreparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecastsDeliver predictable financial performance for monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as against annual operating plan targets.Internal and External support of compliance auditsOn-going collaboration with the customer and functional teamsAssistance with contract negotiationsNCTA & Capital Management and ReportingBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting or program control - OR - a Master's degree as described with 3 years of industry related experience.Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirementProficient in Microsoft Office suiteUnderstanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FARPrior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan developmentEarned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value GuidelinesPrior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.The willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the timeUS Citizenship requiredThe ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineExperience with SAP, and COBRA, and Cognos financial softwarePrevious experience managing/supervising program, project, or personnel. Salary Range: $102,400.00 - $153,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
