The role

The primary purpose of this role is to support the General Manager Underwritten and Distribution across a range of key operational and strategic initiatives in line with the Underwritten Workers’ Compensation and Distribution business plan and strategy.

You'll be responsible for

Driving the strategic understanding of regulatory profiles, direction and environment and the provision of strategic input to the General Manager Underwritten and Distribution (General Manager) and senior leadership team Working closely with the senior leadership team and Personal Assistant on all matters relating to the running of the business, coordinating, and providing necessary support Supporting the General Manager with the preparation of Board papers, key reports, presentations, communications, and briefing notes for meetings Contributing to the development of the Underwritten Workers Compensation and Distribution strategy and business plan by working closely with the General Manager and senior leadership team

 

About you

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/ or industry accreditations Detailed understanding of business operations in a complex, matrixed general insurance organisation Proven ability to influence without authority Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills Excellent written communication skills in both long form and in presentations Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions Executive presence and confidence in dealing with senior leaders across the organisation
