**39357BR** **Extended Job Title:** Business Manager **Org Level 1:** Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso **Position Description:** The Grant Funded Projects Manager is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and managing projects that are funded through grants. This role ensures the effective coordination, timely completion, and proper budget management of projects in accordance with grant agreements. The manager will also be responsible for grant writing, compliance reporting, and communicating with stakeholders. **Requisition ID:** 39357BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Develop and implement project plans and timelines. + Coordinate with project staff and stakeholders to achieve project milestones. + Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely completion. + Research, identify, and apply for relevant grant opportunities. + Develop comprehensive grant proposals in collaboration with various departments. + Manage and track grant budgets, ensuring compliance with funding requirements. + Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports to funding agencies. + Liaise with funding agencies, project partners, and internal teams. + Organize regular meetings and updates for stakeholders. + Ensure transparent communication regarding project goals, progress, and challenges. + Ensure adherence to all grant regulations and institutional policies. + Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of project activities and finances. + Prepare detailed documentation and reports for audits and reviews. + Supervise project staff and provide support through regular feedback and guidance. + Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. + Oversee the recruitment and training of project team members as necessary. + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes. + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). + Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution. + Perform all other duties as assigned. **Grant Funded?:** No **Minimum Hire Rate:** Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual **Pay Basis:** Monthly **Work Location:** El Paso **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field. + Minimum of 3-5 years experience in grant management, project management, or a similar role. + Proven ability in grant writing and securing funding. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in project management software and tools. + Knowledge of financial management and budgeting. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Master’s degree in a relevant field. + Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.). + Experience in a nonprofit or public sector environment. **Campus:** HSC - El Paso **Department:** Psychiatry Dept Elp Genl **Required Attachments:** Cover Letter, Resume / CV, Transcript **Job Type:** Full Time **Pay Statement:** Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan.
