A day in the tribe Daily Banking & Client First
Our mission is to become the become the most recommended mobile-led bank in Belgium, one which makes banking simple and drives financial progress. We are passionate about using technology to make banking frictionless. The tribe Daily Banking & Client First shapes the mobile led strategy and product offer to 2.4mln of Private Individual customers of ING in Belgium with the goal to become the undisputed number 1 in mobile Daily Banking. The power of the ING Mobile Banking app is combined with our Financial Experts in branches to achieve our commercial growth ambitions related to customer and liabilities (savings) growth and provide frictionless personalized customer experience.
Your role & work environment
Based in Brussels, you will act as a trusted advisor, run strategic projects, monitor the progress on strategic transformation and commercial objectives, support communication both internally and externally, and support and optimize the tribe Daily Banking & Client First.
On a day-to-day basis, this also means preparation of meetings and presentations, management of team meeting, follow-up of hiring requests, report high quality information to drive data-based decision making, propose and contribute to continuous improvements, act as linking pin with various business units inside and outside retail, and act as first-point-of-contact for questions.
You work regularly on topics related to design and execution of strategy as well as performance and progress towards achieving strategic objective. A big component of the job is engaging with a big range of senior stakeholders inside and outside the tribe and assist the tribe lead in the communication strategy towards those.
Your key responsibilities
Reporting
Support monthly data collection of commercial results and transformation
Analyze and challenge the results and provide actionable insights
Drive dynamic planning
Review regularly setup of reporting structure and assess its effectiveness, both for strategic transformation and commercial results
Plan team meetings and offsites, and ensure prioritized topics are being covered
Communication
Define and provide content for communication towards internal and external stakeholders
Set up and lead own projects

Strong organizational skills combined with analytical and commercial acumen in B2C sales, retail products and digitalization.
Ability to understand complex business situations and a consultancy mindset towards cracking business problems and opportunities.
Problem solving attitude and eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Highly analytical and being experienced with data and financials including financial modelling
Agile mindset and participative personal communication style allowing to connect vertically and horizontally in the organization.
Capacity of resilient leadership allowing to navigate through ambiguity and show strong resilience.
Well developed risk-awareness and diligence ensuring a safe and compliant way of working.
Able to work independently and as a team member
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, being experienced in senior stakeholders strategy presentation.
Tri-lingual (English, Dutch, French)
Relevant experiences in front sales banking environment, and/or experience in product development and commercialization and/or experience in execution of strategic projects are plusses
