Summary McCoy's is the central hub of activity at Fort McCoy. This large facility includes Dining, Sports Bar, Bowling Center, Recreation and Leisure Activities and Conference and Catering Spaces. The McCoy's Team provides high-quality service and a place to unwind for the Ft. McCoy Community. Announcement will a have a first cut office date of December 18, 2024, and applicants that submit a complete application packet prior to that date and found eligible may be given first consideration. Responsibilities Manages a Food Service Program within the Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation - Business Operations Division to include McCoy's and Whitetail Ridge Snack Bar. Plans and manages all phases of food service program to include menu planning and pricing, oversees inventorying and purchasing, food ordering, storage and issues. Develops operating budget and data, identifying labor, equipment, and supply costs. Supervises assigned staff. Participates in the selection of employees, directs on-the-job training of new employees, makes duty assignments consistent with operational requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. Knowledge of pricing methods and internal controls. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower pay level. Possess a certificate for sanitation in food service or have the ability to obtain the certificate within three months of appointment. Highly Preferred Criteria All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be demonstrated in your resume to get credit. Experience in menu planning and execution. A minimum of one year experience with event preparation and execution in a food service setting. A minimum of one year customer service experience. A minimum of two years experience supervising, managing, or training in a kitchen setting. IAW the Fort McCoy collective bargaining agreement, Night Shift Differentials and Sunday Premium are not authorized for Pay band positions. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
