SAS is a comprehensive liberal arts and sciences school in New Brunswick. Students complete a Core Curriculum that meets a broad range of foundational learning goals while also gaining depth in particular areas of interest by completing a major and minor. Students study and actively engage in research with our world-class research faculty as they create new knowledge and understandings of the natural environment and human behavior across 40 disciplines. SAS students achieve the knowledge and skill competencies necessary to successfully meet the rapidly changing demands of the 21st Century.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Manages the business services for the department and centers encompassing a wide range of business activities including the following: finance, budget, accounting, grant administration, management-level report preparation analysis for internal and external users and approval of monthly account reconciliations of all department accounts in accordance with, accounting controls, accurate execution and advanced application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), sponsoring agency requirements, and University policies and procedures are utilizing current concepts, principles, and regulations. Serves as the MarketPlace, Expense Management, Cost Transfer level 2 approver, ECERT coordinator approves charging instructions and approves operating and payroll action documents for the SAS systems. Supervises business office staff.
