The team
The role operates at the centre of ING's global Talent & Learning (T&L) domain. The mandate of the global Talent & Learning team is to ensure we can attract, develop, engage and retain the most talented individuals and help them grow and develop with us. Our job is to unlock our people's potential, across a global workforce in 44 countries.
In this role, you will report directly to the Global Head of Talent & Learning and contribute to the work of the different teams within our T&L domain:

Role and Responsibilities
As a Business Manager, your role is essential to support the delivery of the end-to-end agenda of the function. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to create structure and alignment through clear process and follow-through, a sharp focus on delivery and the ability to communicate and partner with a wide range of stakeholders. It offers tremendous growth potential, with key responsibilities including:
Advise and support the Head of T&L in the development and execution of strategic agenda.
Partner with the Global Head of T&L to accomplish the function's objectives.
Monitor the progress towards our Talent & Learning priorities.
Gather, analyze and interpret business information in order to advise on financial, business or people decisions.
Prepare briefings and coordinate input from delivering parties.
Acting as a sparring partner, sounding board and trouble shooter for the Head of T&L.
Design and implement structure to ensure the smooth operations of the global T&L function.
Build the operational infrastructure to support effective team working – from optimising collaboration (using MS Teams capability) and faciliating communication (via a cadence of engaging management team, broader team and key stakeholder meetings or other communication methods) to building highly organised work plans.
Work closely with Finance to monitor and steer the financials of the function, including headcount and budget.
Ensure we remain compliant and act as a coordinator for the team when regulatory requests arise (e.g. coordination of CSRD for Talent & Learning).
Manage the leadership team meeting agenda and follow up on actions.
Build a trusted relationship with the management team members to support positive team dynamics and good collaboration.
Act as a linking pin within the team and with other departments, the Business Managers in Global HR, and the T&L leads across countries.
Quality assure team deliverables, ensuring consistent standards and tone of voice with a strong emphasis on copywriting presentation and papers for key stakeholder meetings, such as MBB and HR Management Team.
Proactively improve T&L projects, processes, and ways of working.

A gross salary between 5.212 – 8.388 EUR based on 36 hours per week
24-27 vacation days depending on contract
