You will work directly with the Head of WB Lending Product Delivery Management (located in Amsterdam) and key stakeholders, such as the CTO, Finance, HR, Risk, Communications, and members of the Lending Management Team, to anchor and deliver the WB’s strategy and ensure targets are achieved. You will work together with the business managers within the WB Delivery Organization (Tribes) to ensure we drive our transformation in a consistent operating delivery model.
Your role and responsibilities
As a business manager, you are involved in and contribute to the execution of the Lending Digitalization rollout. This role provides you with broad insight into the global ING organization. You will operate on a strategic, tactical, and operational level. You act as a linking pin within the department and delivery organization (CTO) to enable effective and efficient operations.
Support the Head of WB Lending Delivery Management to facilitate effective decision making.Act as a partner and sounding board to the MT, coordinate teamwork on various topics.Stimulate collaboration between business managers of the WB Delivery Organization to ensure one way of working in WB and increase productivity by sharing expertise and streamlining activities.Proactively signal and suggest areas for improvement in internal processes, consistent with our efforts to simplify and standardise our processes across WB. Develop and implement procedures and frameworks in line with guidelines and take care of maintenance.Ensure the quality and optimisation of management information towards different stakeholders (like CTO, etc)Monitor the progress of key financial and non-financial performance metrics, ensuring actions are allocated to the relevant people and are acted upon.Develop and maintain relationships in WB to create opportunities and ensure alignment.Prepare communications, presentations and briefing notes for various key (internal & external) stakeholders (such as the Head of WB, senior management, staff, ECB and DNB) including business cases, proposals, webcasts and town halls.How to succeed

Master’s degree or equivalentA solid understanding of the WB Strategy, products and processes. Translating strategy into executable plans gives you energy.Organisational sensitive and capable of creating buy-in and engagement at different levels of the organisation.A naturally collaborative person, who listens and at the same time pushes, where needed, to break through existing routines.You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working, and you can prioritize tasks.Skilled in preparing inspiring presentations and short and snappy briefings and reports in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.This role is located in Amsterdam; however, the language requirement is fluent English (written and spoken). The role is intended to be a transitional role to help you to develop your career path within WB.
