Business Office Admin II
Lincoln Tech is seeking a Business Office Admin to handle all aspects of Business Office activity. This role may specialize in one area or multiple areas, including student account services, regulatory reporting, human resources, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable. Supports the Director of Administrative Services. This position may interact with campus staff, faculty, students, vendors and corporate staff. Responsibilities Student Accounts + Servicing of student account ledgers, posting payments and charges + Past due payment statements, working with students on past due payments + Maintaining notes on the Past Due Reports + Reconciliation of daily bank deposits (Student Payments & Title IV) + Invoicing and monitoring of all third-party agencies + New Starts: accuracy of enrollment agreement to data system + New Starts: final acceptance of enrollment agreement once start requirements have been met + Setting up scholarships in data system and completing scholarship addendums + Auditing of student accounts on drops, graduates and academic year credit balances + Scheduling refunds, monitoring accounts for accurate postings + Returning students: works with Receivables Division on student status + Returning students: ensure data system is properly updated and signed addendum is on file + Assist students with inquires and/or direct student to appropriate department + Perform other duties or projects as assigned Accounts Payable + Supports purchasing activities at the campus. Ensures documentation is accurate and current + Manage account payable; creating purchase orders, approve and receive orders in data system + Responsible for proper coding of invoices + Maintain data system of accurate reporting and accruals monthly + Maintain books, tools, uniform inventory as well as monthly inventory reporting + Distribute books, tools, uniforms to students + Work with vendors on inquires and issues Human Resources/Payroll + Manage all aspects of Human Resources paperwork, including job requisitions for new hires, promotions, transfers , changes + Work with the hiring manager on interviewing applicants, setting up pre-employment screenings, benefits and required paperwork + Advising new hires of employee policies and procedures + Maintain employee files + Work with Corporate Human Resources to ensue policies and procedures are being followed at the campus level + Report Worker's Compensation claims to company's designated insurance carrier in a timely fashion + Report unresolved employee relations concerns to Corporate HR + Processing all hourly and salary payroll + Maintain attendance reporting on vacation, sick, personal time + Assist school staff with any questions regarding HR and/or payroll Regulatory + Gather student and company data and documentation to complete state and accreditation reports + Ensure all reports are completed and submitted timely + Work with Corporate Regulatory on all required reports Requirements + Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and training that enables completion of the essential functions and provides the required knowledge and skills + High School Diploma + Dedication to quality and exceptional customer service + Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, faculty, managers and corporate staff and vendors + Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, i.e., Word and Excel + Must be available to work some evening shifts until 8:00 p.m. Full-Time Benefits + Medical, Dental, Vision + Life and Disability Insurance + 401(k) with Company Match + Paid Time Off and Holidays + Climate Controlled Environment + Growth Opportunities + Click here to learn more (https://recruiting.adp.com/srccar/LincolnBenefits.dbprop?x=y&oemID=RTI\_1166451&siteLive=false&\_ext=pdf) For over 75 years Lincoln Tech has been one of the nation's leading providers of career training in Healthcare, Automotive/Diesel, Skilled Trades, Information Technology, Cosmetology, and Culinary Arts.
