This position is a general patient Accounts Receivable position acting as an extension of the business office team for an assigned healthcare facilities with a variety of duties and responsibilities related to the day to day review, input, processing, and coordination of billing and receivable information between the facility and the Corporate Office for designated facilities.

 

***Competitive Pay  starting at $18.00/hr!***

***Part Time 24 hours a week***

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable), are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities Prepare and file Estate ClaimsPrepare resident account write-off. Completing and apply for resident Medicare benefits Following up with resident/families on open policies or concerns with the Common Working FileComplete Representative Payee application and annual formsAssist in problem resolution in conjunction with Corporate Billing Specialist, Regional Patient Account Manager and Administrator for all billing questions presented by residents, families, or responsible parties.Prepare reports for Management as assignedReview and respond to daily email.Attend all Corporate Accounts Receivable meetings.Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director of LTC Patient Accounting, and Vice President of Patient Accounting. Qualifications High school diploma preferred with college courses in accounting.Computer experience (Microsoft Word and Excel)Experience in a long-term care setting.
