Much more online at: https://brentwoodbehavioral.com ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Completes the business office procedures associated with the patient admission process; supervises admissions staff (financial counselors); ensures appropriate financial criteria are met prior to patients completing the admission process. Oversees and directs the collections and data processing functions; manages in-house collection efforts to meet organization’s business goals & corporate established collection and net days in accounts receivable goals. Effectively initiates resolution of account problems without supervision; Identifies trends with patient account issues and implement corrective actions. Maintains effective communication and supportive working relationship with business office staff, supervisor , other departments, and insurance companies. Manages own workload exceptionally well, to the extent that support is often available to others; Shows initiative in offering support and expertise to co-workers and other departments. Five years’ work experience in a related field required; experience in health care industry preferred Hours of Work: Determined by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) according to the needs of the facility Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines. Proficient in PC software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
