Business Operations Analyst
Job Descriptions: 5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company is seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Analyst to provide administrative and security program support to the Site Lead and business unit. Duties include tasks of a routine such as: filing, typing, data entry, configuration management administration, expense report processing, security coordination, and event planning and coordination. Duties also include more complex tasking of a non-routine nature such as purchase order creation, correspondence preparation and management, generating standard database reports and special research projects. The position is a full-time exempt on-site position at our office in Round Rock, TX. Key Roles and Responsibilities of the Business Operations Analyst include: + Assisting the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in administering all security program functions, including physical, personnel and information security, Operations Security (OPSEC) and Communications Security (COMSEC) operations and Insider Threat Program requirements. + Assisting the FSO with the following security duties: + Updating, conducting, and tracking security education requirements. + Submitting visit access requests and coordinating foreign travel process. + Performing facility access control processes and performing routine audits. + Ensuring discreet handling of all business-related matters and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. + Maintaining appropriate stock for office supplies, break room refreshments and coordinating with property manager for repair and maintenance requests. + Organizing and maintaining appropriate filling system (both electronic and hard copy). + Updating and tracking delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines, prioritizing duties and working on several tasks simultaneously. + Leadership of company culture activities and event planning. + Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding, working in coordination with Human Resources. + Formatting, composing, proofreading and finalizing internal and external correspondence including emails, memos, letters, reports, manuals, procedures, presentations, bulletins and other workplace documents. + Facilitating meetings with external visitors, from communications in advance of visit through reception and departure from 5-D. + Leading the administration effort for the company’s configuration management process. + Processing expense requests and reports. + May cross train with other department administrative personnel to provide back-up coverage for absences and/or peak work volumes. + Other special projects and tasks as assigned by the Site Lead. Required Experience: + High school graduate or equivalent and 5+ years directly related work experience. + A.S./A.A/B.A/B.S. Degree in related field and 3+ years directly related experience. + US Citizenship + Current security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one + Experience in a classified work environment is a plus + Strong interest in industry security + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) + High degree of integrity; solid judgment and initiative. + Ability to be proactive and professional in interactions with employees, supervisors and customers. + Responds well to pressure, resourceful and efficient. + Effective interpersonal skills in all situations, including those that are stressful or involve sensitive and/or confidential matters. + Detail oriented, precise, and accurate. Strong organizational skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface well with other internal departments and outside contacts. + Demonstrated ability to work independently with little guidance, anticipating next steps, taking initiative, exercising discretion and sound judgment and working collaboratively as a member of the team. + Ability to read, analyze and interpret business information, financial reports and contracts.
