Business Operations Intern

We are seeking an Intern for the summer. Our summer internship provides you with an opportunity to: + Participate in business operations and related quality improvement activities. + Grow your understanding of the different focus areas relevant to the business operations function of a national accrediting organization. + Meet a variety of people from a wide range of health care disciplines, allowing you to form relationships you can build on in the future. **Responsibilities** + Participate in status assessment and opportunity scoping meetings. + Assist with meeting planning, Minutes, and task tracking. + Perform data entry/data analysis. + Assist in the preparation of memoranda, position papers, other project-related communication, presentations, and ad hoc reports as assigned. **Qualifications** + The level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through Junior/Senior year of a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in a business management-related field. + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Additional Information:** + Time-limited, hourly position, 10 weeks within June-August; $20.00 per hour; flexible scheduling 20 hours per week.
