The Opportunity:

The Business Operations Manager leads the Corporate Accounts (“CA”) team’s efforts to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the CA sales team, including the IHN (Integrated Health Network), LRL (Large Reference Lab), GPO (Group Purchasing Organization), and CRO (Contract Research Organization) teams.  

Working closely with the Vice President and Corporate Account Leadership Team to provide leadership, strategic decision-making, and planning to develop and manage efficient and effective use of resources to help the overall Corporate Accounts team meet their objectives.

Responsible for collaborating and aligning with the franchise Sales Operations teams as well as Talent and Development, Service, Pricing and Contracts, Finance, Compensation and Strategic Supply.

Creating, managing, and the continuous improvement of processes, programs, and tools.

Key Responsibilities/JobFacts:

Strategic Sales and Operations Leadership: Lead the development and execution of annual sales meetings for Corporate Accounts and RDx, collaborating closely with Customer Engagement and Training teams. Drive annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to align with organizational goals. Ensure compliance with Roche’s internal business processes and regulatory requirements, fostering strong relationships with key customers and external stakeholders to drive business growth and alignment.

Sales Training and Effectiveness: Facilitate new hire and ongoing sales training initiatives to enhance team effectiveness and performance. Support process improvement and tool deployment for sales effectiveness, including Salesforce.com, Miller-Heiman, Showpad, and Tableau. Analyze sales tools and resources to optimize functionality and alignment with strategic goals.

Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Influence stakeholders to prioritize and execute critical projects in a timely manner, leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills. Manage intern and rotational associate recruiting, project development, and oversight, ensuring impactful contributions to organizational objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with global colleagues and functional areas to achieve objectives and resolve issues effectively.

Analytical Insight and Continuous Improvement: Utilize strong analytical skills and data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive business performance. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales analytics to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business operations, optimizing processes and enhancing overall efficiency.

Marketing and Content Management: Assist in the development of marketing-related content and product launches in coordination with Franchise Marketing and Regulatory teams. Ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence. Maintain alignment with upcoming launches and stakeholder expectations through rigorous analysis of tools and resources for optimization.Contribute to annual convention and conference planning and Roche presence in partnership with Marketing and Customer Engagement.

Who you are:

Bachelor's Degree required

7 years of progressive professional experience (research methods, financial and/or business analysis, pricing and/or forecasting) or 6 years progressive professional experience with an Advanced Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree 

Advanced understanding of practices and principles of P&L profitability, pricing strategies, and/or statistics, research and analysis

3 years of Sales or sales operations experience 

Excellent written and oral communication as well as excellent presentation skills

Excellent leadership qualities, including but not limited to: inspiring and motivating others; team-building; and quality developing trust and credibility

Proficient utilizing MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and analytical tools

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis,IN is 101,500 and 188,500.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
