Business Operations Manager - Adult Day Services

Responsibilities
Provide oversight of all ADS micro-business activities and operations.
Develop an overall business plan that captures and brings together all the microbusinesses that ADS operates under one brand and develop a physical storefront and online marketplace to promote sales.
Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.
Collaborate with the agency’s Director of Communications and Government Relations for marketing and branding of Developmental Disabilities Institute store and implementing creative and catchy new sales plans and advertising.
Interface with programs to identify pre-vocational business activities to support the micro-businesses in ADS and collaborate with program administrators to develop training programs for the people we support.
Provide analytics on all business activities to identify sales and forecast future opportunities and have the ability to collect and analyze key performance indicators of the business.
Manage online-based businesses, including the day-to-day management of projects, operations and metrics.
Supervise, train and assist employees like Sales Representatives and Retail Store Clerks in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centered on holiday sales and other cycles.
Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.
Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
Implement cross training of employees to maintain productivity at all times.
Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Physical Demands
Must be able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. (mats)
Must be able to kneel, twist and bend.
Must be able to respond to fire alarms.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proactive in-store planning skills
Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.
Ability to operate basic business software programs
Knowledge of business accounting principles and pricing research/comparison
Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
