Our Intelligent Grid Solutions business unit focuses on technology consulting, implementation and managed solutions to support grid and digital transformation for utility clients. We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to support the rapid expansion and scaling of this business. This position requires strong financial acumen, executive presentation skills and an operational mindset. The role reports directly to the COO of the business unit and will be a critical part of ensuring success in our next phase of growth. Responsibilities Operational Management: Monitor and analyze operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Practice Leads, Resource Leads and the Project Management Organization (PMO) to streamline workflows and implement operational best practices. Budget & Financial Planning: Drive the annual budgeting process and work closely with P&L Leads to develop accurate and realistic financial plans. Monitor budget performance during the year, identify variances, and provide insights to senior management. Strategic Initiatives: Work alongside Practice Leads, Sales Operations & Commercial Operations to support strategic planning and decision-making related to growth investments, pipeline management and pricing. Knowledge Management: Manage and organize knowledge management systems (Teams, SharePoint, etc.), creating workflows to keep them current. Drive scalability and continuous improvement of those systems in line with sector growth. Acquisition Support: Support commercial due diligence efforts, including financial case development, and oversee project management of integration activities. Team Leadership & Culture: Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications Must Have/Requirements: Bachelors degree required 5+ years of relevant experience in investing, consulting or operational planning and support Ability to work standard hours during Central or Eastern time Nice to Haves Technical expertise with Microsoft suite: SharePoint, Teams, Power BI Previous experience managing direct reports Previous experience with M&A Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
