Department Summary:
P750 Business Operations is the back-bone support for all Center for Securing the Homeland (CSH) business related functions. Our team works closely with varying levels of staff, predominantly supporting Project Leaders, Department Managers and Managing Directors who execute work for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) government agencies, Department of State (DOS), and the National Cybersecurity FFRDC (NCF) sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work on tasks and responsibilities with a moderate degree of supervisionWork on tasks/initiatives to completion within defined procedures and standardsBe the Business Operations Partner for your aligned divisions, with responsibilities to include:Assist your aligned divisions in preparing for bi-monthly Business ReviewsAssist with meeting contractual deadlines and compliance for IDIQ Contract DeliverablesSupport Proposal Management/Project Lifecycle (Technical Execution Plan (TEP) to award through closeout)Address adhoc deliverables tasks as they arise from your aligned divisionsWork with MITRE’s billing team and accounts payable regarding invoice compliance and/or issuesBe a point of contact for sponsor Fitness / Suitability / Clearance process questions from the divisionsProficient in SharePoint, responsibilities include:Assist in updating the CSH Operations SharePoint site and Shared libraryAssist in maintaining/enhancing our deliverables SharePoint site (Enclave)Confirm and upload deliverables for tasksFacilitate the completion of project monthly status reportsMonitor project leader submissions and send reminders to those who miss deadlinesCreate deliverables timeline chartsMaintain list of intellectual Property (IP) created/used on HSSEDI ProjectsReview finance graph charts and identify issuesAssist project leaders on business processes and CSH norms, and address adhoc requestsParticipate in Corporate working groups (e.g., pipeline management, staffing, etc.)Participate in Business Transformation and provide guidance to project leaders as new tools and processes roll outProvide staff planning guidance to Project LeadersBasic Qualifications:
