Reporting to the Head of Business Portfolio Planning & Operations, your responsibilities encompass overseeing the product investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering measurable outcomes.
In this role, you will guide the annual business planning cycle, developing integrated plans to drive revenue growth and optimize investment deployment. You'll manage multi-year planning and contribute to business tracking processes, including monthly and quarterly reviews.
Your ability to identify and manage complex issues will be crucial in driving recommendations that support our business unit and corporate goals. You'll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across various functions, often in a complex and ambiguous environment. Job Description
Strategic Investment & Portfolio Management
Guide the annual business planning cycle, developing integrated investment plans that drive revenue growth and optimize investment allocation.
Manage the strategic product portfolio, including multi-year planning, Product Portfolio Investment Map across product horizons and lifecycles to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Align short-term and long-term investments with organizational resources, ensuring proper coordination of functions, location planning, capacity management, and skills development.
Performance Analysis & Operational Efficiency
Conduct evaluations and make recommendations to adjust financial envelopes throughout the year, anticipating and mitigating potential impacts on investment and priorities.
Track and report performance progress against targets, providing clarity on completion statuses and managing deviations effectively.
Maintain investment registers and dashboards, providing accurate status reporting.
Oversee financial and operational aspects of business tracking processes, including monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including providing high-level support in executive meetings.
Build productive relationships across the organization to drive influence and facilitate alignment.
Create and maintain specific communications for different forums.
Leadership & Cultural Advocacy
Champion the company's values of collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and wellness within all business operations and leadership activities.
Advise on workforce strategies and plans that support the business unit's strategy, driving long-term business results and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Candidate’s Requirements
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Communication Skills: Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strategic and Financial Acumen: In-depth understanding of business operations, financial principles, strategic planning frameworks, and methodologies.
Leadership and Collaboration: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-pressure environment; experience in influencing stakeholders and driving organizational change.
Global Experience: Work experience in a global environment, requiring collaboration across different geographies and cultures; adaptability to international business practices.
