Within the Business Operations tower and reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be in charge of managing multiple work packages as Project Specialist. This role includes planning, organizing, staffing, leading, budget tracking and controlling delivery activities for these Work packages.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Plan Project Plan/organize the delivery of assigned Work packages according to given budget and scope in accordance with the Global roadmap, Governance process & standard IS&T operating model Ensure that Project activities follow standard methodology, process and tools Apply templates and records to document Project activities following our standards Run sourcing process in collaboration with Sourcing dept. Insure Statement of work fit to work package scope Build the project plan and update it according to the changes Lead Project Ensure the drive of the project, by taking the appropriate actions to stick with given budget, planning and quality level Manage the Project plan – scope and tasks Manage Project interdependencies Identify and mitigate risks – drive out barriers to success, escalate as needed Manage Project partners ◦ Communicate with Alstom stakeholders and community to get support for the Project Define Action Plan with Action/Owner/Deadline and track the progress and update Control Project Report in a timely manner Project status by following standards Ensure that the Project operate within the approved budget / scope Monitor all budgeted Project expenditures Monitor forecast and report actual / cost at risk Ensure that all financial records for the Project are up to date Domain: As part of the Business Operations tower, you will be working on projects related to the below domains: Manufacturing: MES application (APRISO from Dassault) Test & Commissioning: Test execution application developped by Alstom (Java) Procurement: Supplier collaboration (ARIBA from SAP) Material Planning: MPC (FIORI, SAP BO) Industrial Planning: SC Planning (Kinaxis) Quality: Supplier Quality Portal (Web based)
Profile description
To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:
Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management or IS&T Management (project management certifications preferred, experience of large scale / global programs is required). You have a strong knowledge and experience of Operation domain. You also have a minimum of 5-years experience in coordinating and/supporting IS&T business processes. As a Project Specialist you demonstrate strong communication, leadership and change management skills. You have the ability to engage effectively with Executive level stakeholders. Program Directors require solid scheduling and budgeting experience. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity. You are also recognized for creating Action Plans, tracking completion of actions and Anticipating the next steps and potential issues.
