Business Operations Tailoring Manager

About the Job As Business Operations Tailoring Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement the tailoring strategy, policies, procedures, and operational standards across all stores. This individual must be able to provide solutions to store tailoring, tailoring labor model, tailoring operations and systems opportunities. The key to success includes a strong ability to think and plan strategically to achieve optimal operational results, work collaboratively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, while remaining resourceful, adaptable, and efficient. This position will report directly to the Director of Rental Operations and Tailoring. What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities Create and own tailoring strategies to drive alteration revenue growth and improve operational efficiency. Develop and optimize programs and tools to support the tailoring strategy, regularly evaluating for improvements and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement the programs and tools necessary for executing internal and external tailoring programs. Analyzes reports and provides feedback on opportunities for operational improvements to the overall business operations processes, reporting, store alteration collections and store compliance on staffing and overflow stores. Create and track time stamps for alteration processes to ensure that the appropriate amount of labor is allocated to the tailoring business. Reviews, tracks, and monitors alteration collections consistently and works with field Multi-Unit Managers on improvement methods for multiple brands, while understanding the nuances across the brands. Work collaboratively with Payroll to iterate and optimize tailoring labor model, including identifying business scheduling needs for tailoring. Provide strategy for continuous improvement, operational standardization, and work management programs and processes. Additional duties as assigned Proven Skills, Abilities and Experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Management, Analytics or Operations Management 5+ years of experience effectively leading and developing teams. Must be knowledgeable in basic tailoring adjustments, services and procedures. Effective at evaluating situations and developing process improvement plans. Analytical skills coupled with an ability to interpret data, communicate findings, and propose recommendations. Proven ability to balance competing priorities and secure resolution through interdepartmental collaboration. Exceptional time management, attention to detail and follow up skills. Experienced at prioritizing and working under time constraints, engaging in multiple projects at one time, and working independently while remaining flexible to changing priorities and assignments Advanced Excel skills required. Knowledge of retail store and back-office systems is a plus. (CE Platform, POS, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to flex to various audiences. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
