The Department of Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise (https://www.hnfe.vt.edu/) in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Virginia Tech invites applicants for a part-time (1500 hrs./year) wage position. This position will serve as an assistant to the Assistant Director for Business Operations. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with the processing of orders the Virginia Tech procurement systems, including HokieMart; assisting with travel authorization preapproval and various expense reporting through ChromeRiver; addressing routine and non-routine fiscal issues; maintaining financial records and processing transactions for a number of funds and accounts (VT and VTF), and other general operational supports to the department.
