The opportunity


We are looking for a Business Partner Demand Planning (with Machine Learning) - Consumer Business Unit EMEA to join our team. The job operates in a hybrid mode, requiring office presence three times a week in one of the following locations: Luxembourg, Brussels, or the Hanau area in Germany. 
 
Position deliverables:

Implement/lead a methodical & standardized forecasting approach for the responsible business area using a Machine Learning forecast as a baseline Partner with Revenue Management to include market assumptions (from multiple stakeholders) to sign-off the 18-24 month forecast in the monthly demand cycle Lead the demand planning processes and operations: Ensure that processes are transparent and standardized to achieve “One Goodyear Way” Continuous Improvement: Be responsible to champion innovative ideas and approaches  Manage KPIs to ensure that forecast accuracy targets are achieved, and conduct root cause analytics to lead corrective actions                         Be the hub/market expert in forecasting and demand planning (processes and systems) Ensure alignment with business strategy and consistency with market/ customer trends 

 

To join our team, you will need:
 
Education:

University Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain (preferably with exposure to Econometrics) APICS/IBF certification would be an additional advantage

 

Experience:

2-5 years’ experience in an end-to-end supply chain process and/or demand planning is an asset Experience with predictive analytics/statistical forecasting/econometrics

 
Hard and Soft Skills:

Analytical mindset – problem solving and critical thinking Influencing skills – service orientated, effective communication/presentation skills with an ability to gain buy-in Desire to work with Machine/AI solutions Expert knowledge of Microsoft tools especially Excel and Spreadsheet analysis skills (Tableau/Power BI experience is an asset) Collaborator who enjoys working in a cross functional team Attention to detail – able to work under time pressure to deliver results Adaptability and Flexibility
