Business Performance Consultant

The Business Consultants work with internal customers to define and prioritise business problems and opportunities; exploring and scoping possible solutions to these problems and enabling transformational business change in order to create value.The Business Consultant will work on multiple projects simultaneously; supporting the WPB distribution strategy, transformational projects and various high priority initiatives. As our Business Performance Consultant you will: + Anticipate issues and risks and act to mitigate these + Design solutions or change interventions + Oversee change management activities which can include diverse tasks such as timeline planning to stakeholder engagement + Integrate with field teams where necessary to ensure appropriate execution of centrally developed strategies + Attend, lead & drive outcomes for various projects supporting the distribution model + Manage or collaborate in change interventions such as training and communication + Track and document progress and manage status reporting + Budget management, cost benefits and forecasting + Define and prioritise business problems and opportunities + Effectively manage operational risks and internal controls + Work with line management to define detailed value-focused solution options based on the opportunity and provide recommendations For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $78,700.00 and $118,000.00 The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location. Additionally, HSBC offers a wide range of competitive and flexible benefits designed to help you improve your health and well-being, finances, and lifestyle. **Qualifications** You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role: + Strong communication skills including experience working with multiple lines of business and levels of management. Communication is a MUST; must be able to articulate clearly and effectively + Broad-based and business-oriented understanding of sales planning, performance management and business administration + 7 years of experience within the Financial Services industry. Experience in roles in front line, business administration, strategy operations, business and sales performance preferred + Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience + Strong strategic planning, analytical, organizational, time management, cognitive, management, negotiating and written and verbal communication skills + Understanding of strategic goals of the Wealth and Personal Banking segment and how the Premier segment impacts delivery of strategic objectives + Proven strong inter-personal and influencing skills that demonstrate an ability to build consensus across a diverse group of stakeholders + Exceptional team player, who can work collaboratively within a team to deliver quality work within tight timelines + Self-starter with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated to excel, welcomes targets and accountability for meeting them + Excellent knowledge of Reporting and Presentation aids like MS Excel and PowerPoint In compliance with applicable laws, HSBC is committed to employing only those who are authorized to work in the US.
