Who we’re looking for

Toyota's North Carolina Battery Plant (TBMNC) Business Planning Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business Planning Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with the TBMNC Business Planning Team to support plant-wide strategy and execute special projects from the executive leadership team.

Reporting to the Business Planning Manager, the person in this role will support the leadership team’s objective to set the North Star for Toyota Battery Manufacturing as the first plant of its kind in Toyota.

What you’ll be doing

Leading and supporting special projects with Business Planning and TBMNC executive leadership teams, working with Toyota North America Members, and coordinating cross-functional and cross-plant projects.

Supporting complex administrative needs for TBMNC executive leadership (presentation development, event organization, visitor support, etc.).

Supporting TBMNC business objectives (business planning, hoshin).

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, communications, or engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Experience in the automotive industry, consulting, or other large-scale industries.

Experience in corporate communications, government affairs, or other external community engagement roles.

Demonstrated ability to use intuition to adapt in highly flexible environments.

Experience working collaboratively across core company departments (Sales, Manufacturing, Research, Development, etc.) and seniority levels.

Strategic and business planning skills.

Ability to do complex analysis and provide insights and strategic perspectives to a range of disciplines.

Demonstrated skills to constructively communicate with members of all seniority levels.

Strong project management capability.
