**Position Title: Business Planning & Strategy Manager** **Location:** Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO **Relocation Assistance:** None available at this time **Remote/Telework:** Minimum of 3 days per week, in-person work at the Amentum Office or customer site **Clearance Type:** DoD Secret **Shift:** Day shift **Travel Required:** Up to 10% of the time **We're looking for a Business Planning & Strategy Manager for Amentum's Missile Defense Division. The Business Planning & Strategy Manager reports to the Enterprise Management (EM) Director supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) Contract. The Business Planning & Strategy Manager will lead a small, high-performing team of solution architects and proposal analysts.** **Description of Duties:** The **Business Planning & Strategy Manager** supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. **The candidate will be responsible for the following:** • **Leadership & Management:** Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the Missile Defense Division team of solutions architects and proposal analysts; ensure proposal efforts are coordinated, integrated and deliver innovations to the contract mission areas; ensure proposal submissions optimize efficiencies, mission effectiveness, and are quality products delivered on time; and support integration across all enterprise business functions and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement. • **Business Planning & Strategy:** Develop and implement long-term business goals and strategies for the business; conduct in-depth analyses of business performance metrics, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations to executive leadership and/or stakeholders; lead the development and execution of business plans and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives, and identifying/mitigating potential risks to business plans; and prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and/or stakeholders summarizing strategic business insights. • **Customer Engagement and Collaboration:** Optimize customer visibility; interface with executive leadership, stakeholders, and customers; and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, data, and feedback, facilitating effective communication and alignment on key initiatives. • **Business Development:** Support and collaborate with corporate resources in pursuit of on-contract growth/new business opportunities and participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives that drive business growth and operational excellence. **The successful candidate will:** • Be able to think critically, analyze complex situations, and develop innovative solutions. • Have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey strategic recommendations and plans. • Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and ensure effective execution. • Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the planning and implementation process. • Be able to lead and motivate teams, influence decision-making, and drive changes. **Resumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. The selected candidate may be assigned as an employee for one of our teammate companies.** **Basic Requirements:** • Must have 14, or more, years of general full-time work experience • Must have 8, or more, years of directly related experience in one or more of the following business areas: Government Contracting, Finance, Project Management, and Customer Engagement/Relations • Must have 4, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership role • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance **Desired Requirements:** • Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and market research. This position is expected to pay **$160,000 - $170,000** annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days.
