The Business Process Analyst performs analysis of end-to-end business process analysis related to Data Management and Analytics. They perform assessments of the business model and its relationship with technology to identify opportunities or risks that have a direct impact to operational efficiency, customer experience, employee engagement or profitability, and help measure and articulate the business benefits from any recommended product development.
Accountabilities:
Determine the present state of business processes related to risk and analyticsEvaluate the benefits and risks associated with business processes that utilize dataDocument models of the processes, problem statements and key success factorsFacilitate product development through triage to digital product teams, and assessment of outcomes and user adoptionCommunicate and facilitate changes in business processesMeasure and communicate benefits achieved with senior leadershipQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field.5+ years of experience in business process analysis and project management.Familiarity with process mapping and modelling techniques.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret complex data.Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.Bonus qualification:
Relevant certification in business process management or a related field.Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.Knowledge of specific industry regulations and standards.Experience in change management methodologies.Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau)Familiarity with data governance and metadata management practicesAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
