What's the role?
People are Bloomberg's most critical assets and ensuring their success is the key to our success. As part of our HR Global People Services Operations team, you will support our wider HR teams across projects, data and services. As a Business Analytics and Technology Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the intersection of business analytics and technology-driven operations across our Human Resources department. You will liaise with HR Technology Services (HRTS) and various project stakeholders to address issues, provide insights from supporting data to enable decision-making and trend analysis, as well as ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of key systems.
We'll trust you to:
Collaborate with HRTS: Work closely with HRTS on issues related to operational logic, feed discrepancies, and other business technology concerns.Be comfortable with data analytics: Create actionable business insights by analyzing support data using tools such as Qlik or other data analytics platforms.Support implementation: Serve as an implementation partner to HRTS, assisting in the integration of new technologies and systems as it impacts the Global People Services team (GPS)Maintain systems: Oversee system maintenance tasks, particularly within platforms like Workday Journeys, DocuSign, and SERV.Support Tools Development: Develop and implement various support tools including worksheets, calculators, and robotics applications (SDSK Robotics, General AI, etc.).Act as the technology contact for GPS systems: Act as the primary contact and implementation specialist for GPS technology across all platforms, ensuring consistent and efficient deployment.
You'll need to have:
5+ years of experience in developing and implementing support tools and technology solutions.Scripting and developing proficiency in tools such as Qlik, Workday, DocuSign, and other related software.Proven experience working with technology teams, data analytics, and system maintenance platforms.Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and addressing operational issues.Strong analytical and technical skills in sourcing and structuring data Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to present and translate sourced data to stakeholdersExperience with robotics and AI integration (RPA, Gen AI) is a plus.
