Department Summary:
The Digital Analytics team in Operations specializes in driving continuous improvement through digital transformation projects. We streamline processes with cutting-edge technology, enabling the business to achieve its goals. This internship position is located in Tucson, Arizona, on-site.
The Opportunity
Expand and refine simulations of the warehouse and key manufacturing processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
Collect and analyze data manually, while also assisting in acquiring relevant information from core systems.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts to gather critical insights and ensure simulation accuracy.
Present progress updates and findings to leadership, effectively communicating insights and recommendations.
Identify and prioritize additional business areas where simulation could deliver the most value.
Program Highlights:
Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).
- Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).

Required Skills:
Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data from various sources to support simulation development.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to effectively collaborate with subject-matter experts and present progress to leadership.
Problem-Solving: Capacity to identify key data points, overcome data acquisition challenges, and optimize simulations for accuracy and impact.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with simulation software (e.g., Simio, Arena, etc.), or the ability to quickly learn similar tools, along with basic data handling skills (Excel, SQL, etc.).
Attention to Detail: Ensuring simulations are precise and reflective of real-world processes by validating data and incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations and manufacturing experts.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Arizona is $22.00-$35.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
