Responsibilities:
Junior –

Assist in applying process improvement and engineering methodologies to modernization projects

Support senior staff in transitioning organizations or project teams to achieve improved efficiency goals

Help identify opportunities for process automation and improvement

Participate in conducting interviews and facilitating meetings with stakeholders

Assist in developing and delivering training programs for new processes and systems

Contribute to knowledge transfer initiatives within the organization

Help create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements

Support data collection and analysis for process performance metrics 


Intermediate -

Apply process improvement and engineering methodologies to lead modernization projects

Assist senior staff in transitioning organizations or project teams to achieve strategic efficiency goals

Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and improvement

Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate meetings to gather requirements and drive change

Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new processes and systems

Lead knowledge transfer initiatives within the organization

Create and maintain detailed process documentation and standard operating procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements

Analyze process performance metrics and provide data-driven recommendations 


Senior –

Lead large-scale process improvement and modernization projects across the organization

Collaborate with executive leadership to align process improvements with strategic business objectives

Design and implement innovative automated processes to enhance organizational efficiency

Conduct high-level stakeholder interviews and facilitate critical decision-making sessions

Develop comprehensive strategies for training and knowledge transfer across diverse teams

Mentor junior and intermediate staff in process improvement methodologies and best practices

Create and oversee the implementation of organization-wide process standards and procedures

Analyze complex business processes and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization

Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes 


Subject Matter Expert/SME –

Serve as the primary authority on process improvement and engineering methodologies within the organization

Lead and oversee enterprise-wide modernization projects, setting strategic direction and goals

Develop innovative approaches to process automation and improvement, leveraging emerging technologies

Provide expert consultation to C-level executives on organizational transformation initiatives

Design and implement advanced facilitation and interviewing techniques to drive organizational change

Create comprehensive, organization-wide training and knowledge transfer strategies

Mentor senior staff and develop the next generation of process improvement leaders

Establish best practices and standards for process improvement across the enterprise

Conduct high-level analysis of complex business ecosystems and provide strategic recommendations

Represent CACI as a thought leader in business process engineering at industry events and forums 


Qualifications:
Required: 

Junior –

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

0-3 years of experience in business process improvement or related field

Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC)

Familiarity with business process modeling techniques and tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies 


Intermediate -

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

0-3 years of experience in business process improvement or related field

Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC)

8-11 years of progressive experience in business process improvement or related field

Expert knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TQM)

Proven track record of leading successful large-scale process improvement projects

Advanced skills in business process modeling, analysis, and optimization techniques

Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

Proficiency in advanced data analysis and visualization tools

Experience in change management and organizational transformation


Subject Matter Expert/SME -

Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

12+ years of extensive experience in business process improvement and organizational transformation

Recognized expert-level knowledge of multiple process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, BPR)

Proven track record of leading successful enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives

Advanced expertise in business process modeling, analysis, and optimization techniques

Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide at the executive level

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences

Experience in change management and organizational culture transformation

Proficiency in advanced data analytics and emerging process automation technologies 

Desired:

Junior –

Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt)

Experience with process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)

Familiarity with project management principles

Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization tools

Knowledge of change management concepts 


Intermediate –

Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, CBPP)

Experience with advanced process mapping and simulation software

Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile)

Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Experience in government or defense sector projects 


Senior –

Master’s degree

Relevant advanced certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, CBPP) •

Experience with enterprise-level process management and automation tools

Knowledge of emerging technologies in process automation (e.g., RPA, AI/ML)

Familiarity with federal government or defense sector processes and regulations

Published work or speaking engagements in the field of process improvement 


Subject Matter Expert/SME –

Ph.D. in a relevant field

Executive-level certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, CBPP)

Experience with AI/ML applications in process improvement

Knowledge of federal government or defense sector processes and regulations

Published research or books in the field of process improvement or organizational transformation

Speaking engagements at major industry conferences

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
