Job Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP systems in the warehouse distribution environment including EWM. Serve as a liaison between end users and SAP consultants to ensure successful and efficient system integration. Process Review and Enhancement: Conduct thorough reviews of existing warehouse distribution processes. Implement enhancements to streamline and improve overall efficiency in distribution processes. Training: Develop training programs and training documentation for warehouse staff on SAP usage and functionalities. Conduct training sessions to ensure that team members are proficient in using SAP tools. Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff to maximize the benefits of SAP. Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with the internal IT team to address any technical issues related to SAP. Collaborate on system upgrades, patches, testing, and other IT-related activities. Ensure seamless integration between SAP and other IT systems used in the warehouse. SAP User Support: Serve as the main point of contact for SAP user support across multiple departments. Address and resolve issues raised by SAP users, providing timely and effective solutions. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as logistics, finance, project management, production/MFG, order management, material planning and procurement, to ensure SAP meets the needs of the entire organization. Foster communication and coordination between different departments to optimize overall business processes. Data Management: Oversee data management within SAP, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security. Implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP advancements and industry best practices. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, exploring opportunities to enhance warehouse distribution operations further. identify business process improvement opportunities, document, and prioritize requirements.Education:
An associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of SAP systems, especially in the context of warehouse distribution and EWM. Understanding of data governance principles and best practices. Familiarity with logistics, finance, project management, production, order management, material planning, and procurement processes.Experience:
Several years of hands-on experience in leading SAP implementations, particularly in warehouse distribution. Previous experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and SAP consultants. Proven experience in developing and delivering SAP training programs. Track record of successful data management within SAP. Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
