The Business Process Improvement Architect is an effective leader, problem solver, committed to using Business Process Methodologies (BPM) to improve the productivity and engagement of the organization through better processes, tools and thinking. They are a member of the Business Process Architecture team within our Merchandising Product Management Organization.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive and results oriented. This individual has a unique blend of retail business knowledge, BPM skills (including notation), project or program management skills, and technical knowledge or analysis skills.

Design & document processes to Implement strategies/roadmaps for a particular capability and improve efficiency Work with key stakeholders to review proposed strategies or roadmaps and be able to communicate impacts and risks associated with change. Work with users to capture pain points and decisions that are included in a process for future enhancements Be customer focused and use process to understand and illustrate the problem. Builds trust by acting as a liaison between business leadership stakeholders, product managers and technology Lead process design to facilitate development of business solutions that combine knowledge of business processes and issues, general technological options and process improvement techniques Manages complexity by breaking down the process and identifying areas for discovery efforts and to identify risks or painpoints within the process Demonstrates decision quality when evaluating technology updates within the context of business process (where it fits) Communicate and collaborate with Technology groups as a process expert to help capture requirements for technology solutions that enhance merchant experience and support the business process Review and evaluate impacts within the capability roadmap to assess timing and sequencingYou own this if you have...
4+ years of experience with demonstrated, comprehensive knowledge of retail business landscape and the processes that support that landscape, preferably across more than one capability area. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change in a complex environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships and influence without authority Strong organization and project management skills including creating and managing a project plan and timeline both within a team and across project partners. Executed and driven projects to completion in a timely manner and worked collaboratively with cross-functional partners across the enterprise The ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are required Demonstrated the ability to work without required supervision and directionAdditional Preferred Qualifications

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $80,000 - $155,000 AnnuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
