Introduction to the job
As the R&D BPM and PGP team, we own the BPM competence in R&D and actively support business process owners (BPO’s) in designing and managing their processes to achieve business objectives effectively and efficiently. Operating within the R&D Quality and Excellence organization, we drive process excellence in R&D. Our team is part of the larger ASML BPM competence network. We adhere to standard roles and processes and contribute to BPM's continuous improvement roadmap.
To maximize the value of BPM for R&D, we aim to make the myProcess BPM application easily accessible for all ASML employees. From Global Process Owners to new engineers seeking clear work instructions, we strive to create a unified, accurate source of process information. Achieving this vision requires significant advancements in BPM landscape design, ARIS configuration, and ongoing system improvements.
Role and responsibilities
As a Process Consultant in the R&D BPM team, you will contribute to impactful process improvement initiatives by supporting Business Process Owners (BPOs) and leveraging ASML’s BPM approach.
Key responsibilities include:
Process (Re)Design Projects: Plan, facilitate, and deliver process (re)design workshops using the Process Excellence (PEX) Methodology, ensuring quality and adherence to scope and timelines.Collaboration: Partner with BPOs and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to align processes with business needs and secure ownership of outcomes.Change Advocacy: Act as a BPM ambassador, fostering BPM thinking and competency development across the R&D organization.Governance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and secure sign-off through the Process Review Board.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the BPM competence and improvement roadmap.This role emphasizes collaboration, quality assurance, and driving BPM practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Education and experience
4 to 9 years of process design and improvement experience, preferably as an internal or external consultant (preferably) within a R&D environment.Experience with ARIS business process analysis & management software.Skills
