Your team

Cognizant’s Intuitive Operations & Automation (IO&A) practice is one of Cognizant’s highest growth practices. To accelerate this growth even further, IO&As is rapidly growing into all industries and markets globally. One of IO&A strategic growth markets is UKI, and we are looking for a highly accomplished, results-driven and versatile individual to join our Operations Consulting (sub) Practice.

Your role

The role will be instrumental in building a capability focused on Transformation consulting, operating model transformation, digital business processes, advising on business strategies, operational improvements, and technological innovations.

This role requires expertise in digital transformation in Customer strategies and business process automation as well as a good understanding of the Retail and Consumer Goods industry. They will need to identify opportunities to leverage automation technologies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve delivery.

Responsibilities

Ability to advise, design and implement industry specific solutions and programmes to improve and optimise business operations. Collaborate with teams within the IOA practice to develop practice capabilities and contributing to growth of the practice. Develop and undertake Digital process experience improvements with hands on experience in Retail and Consumer Goods. Ability to leverage AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to enhance experience and operational efficiency in digital business processes. Lead and undertake analysis of current business processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and automation. Realise opportunities across clients and business functions leveraging Automation and Analytics to realise benefits Collaborate with consulting and automation advisory team to develop and implement automation strategies that align with their business goals and operational needs. Support and drive new business generation across existing Cognizant accounts and new logos in the Digital business space. Have a good understanding of training and change management requirements to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.

Essential Experience must be clearly demonstrated on CV

Academic with a master’s degree, preferably in business administration, data analytics or information technology/science. Proven experience within a Business Consulting services firm or having worked on driving business transformation initiatives with experience acquired in organizations (when no Consulting Industry Experience). Experience of leading and managing digital programmes in or for Retail and/or Consumer Goods organizations. Experience in running transformation projects/programmes, taking ownership providing ownership and leadership across the project life cycle to ensure highest quality of services

Also essential

Business acumen, communication, and drive for result. Ability to travel and work at client offices. Large experience in Operational Excellence as a subject and experience from deployments of various process improvement methodologies. Good exposure to various digital solutions including (intelligent) automation platforms and solutions.

Desirable

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or Master Black Belt) certification will be an advantage with a minimum track record experience of 3 years.
