Business Process Manager

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for performing analytics and identifying minor issues in the supply chain by applying knowledge of rules, policies, and processes, and tracking supply chain metrics to assist in identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks. The role reviews performance metrics regularly and analyzes them to improve supply chain strategies. The role supports experienced team members in developing overall supply chain strategies, contributes to projects or cross-functional teams, and conducts research on industry trends and emerging technologies for process optimization.

Responsibilities
• Performs analytics, identifying reasons for minor issues by applying knowledge of supply chain rules, policies, and processes.
• Tracks supply chain metrics to measure the effectiveness of supply chain and operations initiatives, and regularly reports progress to senior management.
• Identifies inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain and operations processes, and reports them to senior individual contributors.
• Reviews performance on a regular basis to identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain strategies.
• Supports the experienced team members in the development of overall supply chain strategies in alignment with the long-term goals of the organization.
• Contributes to a project or cross-functional team as a member with peer reviewing role.
• Supports senior team members by performing ground work analysis used to create strategic supply chain solutions.
• Conducts research on supply chain industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation.
• Keeps meticulous records, maintaining a comprehensive documentation trail of all activities and results of the supply chain strategy projects.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
