Business Process Reengineering Lead

At Aviva, we are embarking on an exciting journey to transform our Personal Insurance broker business with our move to Guidewire. We are looking for a leader that is passionate about business process optimization to drive efficiency and enhance overall performance. In this role, you will collaborate with business teams to drive the streamlining and optimization of process to improver user experience and straight through processing.

What You’ll Do:

Analyze and Improve: Lead in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate and Understand: Partner with business and project teams to grasp objectives and technology capabilities, ensuring a broad approach that considers people, systems, and workflows.

Challenge and Innovate: Encourage the team to identify and eliminate non-value-adding processes, focusing on business value.

Automate and Optimize: Collaborate with project teams to find opportunities for full or partial process automation to improve efficiency.

Design Future States: Develop optimized future state business processes to increase efficiency and enable straight-through processing.

Perform a Gap Analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired future states. Recommend improvements using methodologies that prioritize reducing friction, improving efficiency, and optimizing processes.

Implement critical metrics: Design and implement critical metrics to track the efficiency of process improvements and ensure alignment with planned benefits.

Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in business process reengineering methodologies.

What You’ll Bring:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in business process reengineering or process improvement roles. P&C insurance experience is preferred.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in process mapping, modeling tools/methodologies, and process improvement frameworks.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize deliverables and work under tight timelines.

What You’ll Get:

The salary band for this position ranges from $92,100 to $171,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
