Business Process Senior Manager

The Business Process Senior Manager based in Houston, TX will be responsible for the business process oversight (creation, improvement, standardization, testing, and monitoring) for the configuration solution for Emerson's Isolation Valves (ISV) Business unit globally. Ideal candidates will provide strategic direction for ISV’s Configurators, gather user and SBU input for further enhancements, and prioritize enhancements and new developments while organizing their release. This person will also be responsible for developing the plan and strategy to move our configurators from Oracle OCD to Configit. Additionally, the ideal candidate will work jointly with ISV’s Business Excellence, Global Pricing, and Global Data teams to serve as a core team for the continued global rollout of ISV’s CPQ+ solution, while providing direction to the configurator team in India.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Provide strategic and technical direction for the isolation Valve Business Unit’s Product Configurators Seek, collect, and prioritize user feedback for continual improvement for our product configurators Manage the configurator development and enhancement roadmap Lead the rollout of the configurators into different world areas as part of the business unit’s CPQ transformation Lead the transformation of the configurators programming platform from Oracle Configurator Developer to Configit Ensure collaboration between functions to launch and support continual improvement for the Configurators  Direct / prioritize the configuration development team’s work Manage and maintain training decks and configurator functional documentation  Who You Are:   You take a proactive approach to craft and influence collaborator expectations. FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:  

BA/BS or equivalent work experience; degrees in Engineering or Information Technology preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising employees 10 years of experience developing and improving business processes in conjunction with IT solutions in for a global user base Familiarity with Product Configuration technology – specifically Configit or Oracle OCD – and engineering product structure (engineering rules, BOM structure) Proven success handling time-sensitive issues in a complex business environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects to completion Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%) Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Strong presentation skills at various levels of the organization You strive for excellence with all outcomes and are known as a standout colleague 2-4 years of Industry experience leading change with business processes
