Business Process Specialist - Sunrise FS - Virginia, IL

SALARY RANGE: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 

Sunrise FS is headquartered in Virginia, Illinois with branches in Mason and Cass counties. Sunrise FS has about 200 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 2,500 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy, energy, grain, tires, irrigation, and retail. Sunrise FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Coordinates and trains administrative activities to enhance administrative efficiencies, customer service, billing accuracy and inventory controls.  

 


 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Directly responsible for assisting sales, operations and administrative staff with proper utilization of current technology platforms. This will include promoting customer facing platforms/tools and assisting customers as needed.
 
Trains all new Administrative Support Coordinators ensuring their understanding of the systems and administrative processes and procedures are adequate.

 

Provides ongoing training and guidance to Administrative Support Coordinators ensuring they are continually developed to understand and implement new technology and procedures.

 

Reviews and understands new technologies and assesses their application to our business.  Provides recommendations to management on new technologies to implement.

 

Assists in training all sales, operations and administrative staff in new technology, processes and procedures, including interfaces with third party systems (i.e. Kahler, Junge, etc.).

 

Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and provides access to SOP manuals for all users ensuring consistency in processes across the organization.

 
Serves as an Administrative Support Coordinator as needed.

 

Regularly observes and works with users to identify inefficiencies and obstacles to current processes and develop solutions.
 
Run and review reports on a regular basis to assist both sales and management staff.
 
Assist locations in preparing for monthly/quarterly/yearly inventory counts as needed.


 


OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist the Accounting department with inventory reconciliation and reporting.
 
Responsible for enhancing positive company image through equipment, vehicles, personal attire, actions and activities.

 

Works with other management personnel in implementing administrative and operational policies and procedures.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
 
Performs all other duties as assigned.


 


REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent thereof; 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
 
Must be able to obtain and maintain a driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
 
This position may be required to work extended hours beyond those considered “normal."
 
This position may need to travel independently and overnight.

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
