Summary: The Business Process Subject Matter Specialist will provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases. Provide high-level functional systems analysis, design, and integration support for business processes and technology solutions. Analyze complex operational and system issues, offering expert recommendations for process improvements and technology adoption. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process workflows, requirements specifications, and system integration plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to align business needs with technical solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in system design and implementation. Lead and support internal audits, process evaluations, and quality assurance activities to maintain operational efficiency. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in business process modeling tools, data analysis, and system integration techniques. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Minimum Qualifications: Five (5) years relevant experience Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
