The position plays a crucial role in managing and executing the contractor sales network for FPL’s customer programs.
The Business Program Specialist oversees contractors that participate in DSM (Demand Side Management) business programs to ensure accurate and timely processing of program rebates, in alignment with program standards and departmental goals. Monitors and assists with program installations to maintain accuracy and addresses customer issues/complaints efficiently and effectively. Candidate must possess knowledge of energy conservation practices and procedures and have familiarity with Residential and/or Business program technologies such as Residential HVAC or Business HVAC with a D/X focus. Additionally, a working knowledge air conditioning is required.
A bachelor's degree is preferred. Relevant experience should include public speaking, community outreach, familiarity with FPL’s Demand Side Management (DSM) programs, field and sales experience, and management of Residential/Business contractor-driven program processes. This position requires a highly organized and communicative individual who can coordinate with multiple departments to ensure program objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Must have working Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Position can be located anywhere within FPL’s service territory.
Employees in this role manage program performance including customer issues/complaints and program installations. Individuals build strong relationships with key program stakeholders to ensure performance is consistent with program standards and goals.
