Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to organize and coordinate specific projects. You will provide project oversight in ways that promote the company’s culture. You will align each project with specific business unit goals. The ideal candidate will be an excellent execution leader and will have experience in influencing stakeholders of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. The goal is to ensure that all projects deliver the critical outcomes that meet or exceed expectations and on schedule. 

Primary Responsibilities

Formulate, organize, lead, and monitor specific projectsDetermine and define project scope and objectivesManage risks and issues and take corrective measurements within each projectArticulate and manage project metrics including outcomes, budget, and ROIManage and utilize resources (internal and external) across projectsResolve projects’ higher scope issuesManage stakeholders’ communicationUtilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or a related field

Experience

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or other managerial position (PMP a plus)Proven execution in coordinating and completing projects on time and within budgetBalanced business/technical background; prior experience with SCRUM/Agile

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methodsFamiliarity with Agile principles – blending traditional project management practices with an Agile development approach to provide the appropriate level of agility and predictabilityExcellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principlesExcellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project, JIRA, Miro, etc.) is a strong advantageProven success working with all levels of managementStrong written and verbal communications skills (to include presentation skills)Strong problem-solving abilityIndustry knowledge of the insurance sector & related operational models is a strong advantage
